This South Korea’s company LG has decided to launch 12 new Android Smartphones in India. Due to heavy demand on smartphones in Indian market LG planned to do so. Definitely it is a good step from LG to established themselves in the smartphone field in India. According to price tag the smartphones will be priced Rs 7,000 to Rs 35,000.
According to the marketing head, LG Mobile India Mr. Sanjay Maheshwary, “LG will launch 12 Android based handsets in the price bracket of Rs 7,000 to Rs 35,000 for Indian consumers this year.” He also said, “LG will begin the launch of Android handsets in India from May with Optimus 4X HD smartphone with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system and quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor.”

The LG Optimus 4X HD will feature 8.1 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an additional 1.3 megapixel front camera for video calling. According to storage capacity the phone has 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on board storage.
The LG Optimus VU features a 5 inch display with screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The phone is powered by an 1.5 GHz dual core processor.
